More Information
NEW CLIENT PROCEDURE After you make an enquiry, you'll receive a form where you can fill in all your information, accomplishments and upload your assets. When you've submit the form, you may be asked for some clarification or to provide additional information. Once all necessary information and assets have been received you will be given an approximate date of completion. When the demo site is complete, you will receive a link. It is your responsibility to check EVERYTHING in the site to make sure it is accurate and correct. After you send through any changes that need to be made. Your site will be updated and your unique link sent upon payment being received.
REVISIONS & CHANGES Minor Revisions [takes 10 to 15 minutes - free of charge] Minor revisions are free of charge and include: text changes including updating education or work experience, adding or removing social media links and removing a project/image for any reason. Major Changes [takes 1 hour - charge of $25] Major changes incur additional fees and include: adding new projects (I will not begin to make changes until I have the information I require) or changes to colouring, layout or overall aesthetics of the site. Aesthetic changes can be made at the same time as other major changes without the additional fee.
PRICING I charge a flat rate of $110 for a Standard Portfolio website and $220 for a Premium Portfolio website. This includes the initial process of creating the website, approval process, minor changes and webpage hosting with a custom www.yourdigitalportfolio/your-name.com. Payment must be received before the final site is published. Addition projects and major revisions will incur extra fees of $25 each.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY STATEMENT Designer Ownership Sarah Darby and sarahdarbydesign retains full ownership of the core creative and technical elements developed, including: preliminary designs (mockups, drafts) and the final design, code, structure, and proprietary templates/tools used for the website. Client Ownership The Client retains full ownership of all pre-existing assets and content they provide, such as: Initial text, logos, photographs, and other media. Usage License Upon full payment, the Client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the final website design and code for its intended purpose. Crucially: This license does not allow the Client to resell or reuse the Designer's proprietary materials (like templates or mockups) for any other project. Client Responsibility & Indemnity The Client must have the necessary rights/licenses for all content (text, images, fonts) they provide. The Client agrees to protect and pay for the Designer's defense against any legal claims (indemnify) arising from the Client's content infringing on a third party's IP rights. The Designer is not liable for infringement caused by materials supplied by the Client.
